Hard at work preparing the new Gandhi Museum in time for Heritage Weekend
He appeared in front of Magistrate Cross and if you want to know more, make sure you participate in the Heritage Trail in central Dundee on Sunday

Dundee’s heritage will be celebrated over Heritage Weekend, which marks the 135th anniversary of the town: 90 years of Orange Grove Dairy, 100 years of the Dutch Reformed Church and 100 years of the Dundee High School buildings.
Saturday sees a tour of Orange Grove (a rare chance to see this modern dairy right on our doorstep).
One can browse around the Dundee High Matric art exhibition and enjoy a high tea.
Heritage Day, Sunday, sees the Heritage Trail Walk in central Dundee where walkers will be able to meet characters from the past, including Gandhi who appeared in the Dundee Court 100 years ago, who will bring history alive.
Pam McFadden and her team and currently hard at work setting up the new Gandhi Museum at the old Courthouse on Gladstone Street.

Gandhi appeared in this Court in November 1913 after he was arrested during the passive resistance march. He led hundreds of indentured Indians into the Transvaal which was illegal at the time.
He appeared in front of Magistrate Cross and if you want to know more, make sure you participate in the Heritage Trail in central Dundee on Sunday where you will have a chance to chat to ‘Gandhi’ at the Court and many other historical characters who will bring history alive in Dundee.
Refreshments on the route on Sunday.
