Fire destroys house near Ladysmith

All that was left of the house was the walls and roof sheeting

A house in St Chad’s was razed in a fire on Monday (September 25) just outside of Ladysmith.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.

The fire department responded to the scene and put out the blaze.

Everything in the house was destroyed by the raging inferno.

All that was left was the walls and roof sheeting.

The windows of the house shattered due to the heat from the fire.

Nobody was home at the time, and no injuries were reported.

The next day, smoke was still seen rising from the ashes.
