Bayede hosts Heritage Day talent competition

Talent from all around Vryheid gathered at the Bhekuzulu Hall on Sunday to showcase just what they were made of in the Bayede Cultural Festival.

Focusing on current social issues such as the killing of people with albinism, violence against women and children and many other forms of crime, Bayede requested that the entrants to the competition compose content that focused on these topics.

Contestants got a chance to showcase their work to a jam-packed Bhekuzulu Hall, and many left both crowd and judges in awe.
