English Country Dance evening at MCC is a hit

The learners from Estcourt Christian Academy had been practising and impressed the audience with their moves

Laughter and dance were in the air at the English Country Dance at Midlands Christian Centre (MCC) on Friday evening.

In addition, it was time to draw and announce the winners of a raffle. The first prize was a Samsung Curved 55 inch Smart UHD television, which is valued at R15 999.

The second prize was R1 000, third prize was R750, fourth prize was R500 and the fifth prize was R250. The draw was held in the presence of staff from an auditing firm and after minutes of nail-biting suspense – the winners were announced.

First prize – Paul Gosbee, second prize – Phumla Zililo, third prize – A Johnstone, fourth prize – A Johnstone and fifth prize – R Swarting.

The audience joins in the dance.

Thereafter it was time to get on the ‘dance floor’ and show off those English Country Dance moves. The learners from Estcourt Christian Academy had been practising and impressed the audience with their moves.

Soon they had their parents and the audience members on their feet, dancing along. It was evident that everyone had a splendid time.
