Newcastle Corner’s second phase opening is around the corner
With Dis-Chem as a strong anchor, developers and Retail Network Services have created an innovative communal wellness area, with a vision to house a range of wellness professionals.
Newcastillians can look forward to phase two of the Newcastle Corner shopping centre in November.
The 10 000m² shopping centre, which opened its first phase in 2016, will welcome a convenient lifestyle centre plus a specialised health and wellness hub next month.
With Dis-Chem as a strong anchor, developers and Retail Network Services have created an innovative communal wellness area, with a vision to house a range of wellness professionals.
To complete the centre’s health-orientated offering, Planet Fitness JustGym will open its doors to meet the huge demand from locals for a top-class fitness facility in their midst.
With a Sasol Service Station and four stand-alone restaurants – McDonalds, Chicken Licken Fly Thru, Ocean Basket and Nando’s – Newcastle Corner has quickly established itself as a go-to destination of choice for residents.
Newcastle Corner is also running a colouring-in competition, where school learners can win R3 000 for their school.
Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Purchase the Newcastle Advertiser – drawings are only found in the Newcastle Advertiser.
Step 2: Write your parents’ names and surnames, contact details and the school you go to on the drawing.
Step 3: Colour in the picture as best you can and drop off your artwork at Newcastle Corner. Entry boxes will be placed at the centre.
The competition ends on November 30, so get cracking!
Rules:
1. Entrants must be school learners.
2. To qualify, please ensure relevant contact details are provided.
3. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. The closing date for this competition is November 30.
5. This competition is exclusive to the Newcastle Advertiser.

The prizes for the best pictures are:
First place – R500
Second place – R350
Third place – R150
