200 Diwali hampers distributed

The distribution covered households in Forderville, Rensburgdrift and Colenso

The Estcourt Hindu Cultural Society distributed 200 food hampers last week.

Hard at work on Wednesday and Thursday, the members packed the hampers, which contain grocery items and are valued at R400 each. On Thursday and Friday, members distributed the hampers to needy families.

The distribution covered households in Forderville, Rensburgdrift and Colenso. 50 hampers were also distributed to five disadvantaged schools.
