CRIME: Blaauwbosch woman assaulted to death

Newcastle SAPS spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Ncube said police found the deceased with multiple injuries to her body, and a fractured skull.

Madadeni SAPS are investigating the brutal murder of a 21-year-old Blaauwbosch woman, which occurred on October 5.

Newcastle SAPS spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Ncube said police found the deceased with multiple injuries to her body, and a fractured skull.

“It is alleged the injured woman arrived at her house around midnight, and before she could explain to her brother what had happened to her, she collapsed. Her brother then rushed her to Rosary Clinic in Blaauwbosh, where she was declared dead upon arrival.”

It is believed the deceased was severely assaulted with a sjambok, and then had her skull fractured with a blunt object.

“The perpetrators of this senseless crime are currently still at large and police are urging anyone with information pertaining to the murder to contact the Madadeni police station on 034 329 6646,” concluded Captain Ncube.
