The Nické Bester Floating Trophy for an Outstanding Academic Achievement ,Vuyo Ngobese and Philasande Mdletshe for achieving runners-up in the National final round of the South African Schools Moot Court Competition.

Former Dundee High matriculant (class of 2003), Ansie Joubert was the guest speaker when DHS hosted their academic prize giving for 2017.
Ansie, now a teacher at St Dominic’s in Newcastle, gave an uplifting message, encouraging pupils to work hard to overcome the odds – Ansie has led an adventurous life – from climbing Kilimanjaro, to completing Iron Man/Woman competitions, parachuting and more…
