Jack Short bid Newcastle adieu at a farewell party, hosted at the Newcastle Golf Club recently.
A resident of Newcastle for more than 46 years, Short was a member of the golf club for 45 years and served 33 years on the NGC committee.
He has served more Newcastle Golf Club presidents than any other committee member.
