FILL UP TONIGHT: Motorists to fork out more for fuel in November
The price of petrol will rise by 4 cents per litre while diesel will go up by 23 cents.
Motorists will have to fork out 4 cents more per litre of petrol come Wednesday, November 1.
The energy department reported the price of petrol and diesel in South Africa will increase in November due to a weakening of the Rand against the dollar.
The price of petrol will rise by 4 cents per litre, while diesel will go up by 23 cents.
“South Africa’s fuel prices are adjusted on a monthly basis, informed by international and local factors. International factors include the fact that South Africa imports both crude oil and finished products at a price set at the international level, including shipping costs,” said the department.
