Various suspects arrested and charged for possession of dagga

Following up on information, police conducted its first search at a dwelling at Shabalala Stand in Blaauwbosch.

Various Intelligence Driven Operations, conducted by the oSizweni Crime Prevention Units led to the arrests of a number of suspects for being in possession of dagga.

Following up on information, police conducted its first search at a dwelling at Shabalala Stand in Blaauwbosch.

There police recovered four parcels of dry loose dagga, as well as a black-bag filled with dry loose dagga, estimated at a street value of around R800.

Members also received a tip-off regarding a drug dealer at a house in oSizweni Section B.

Here police arrested a 32-year-old man for being in possession of seven and a half slopes of dry loose dagga, estimated at a street value of around R500.

All suspects will appear in the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court soon.
