
oSizweni Crime Prevention arrested three suspects in the oSizweni policing area for being in possession of dagga, as well as Mandrax, on January 16.
According to reports the police were conducting an Intelligence Driven Operation within the oSizweni policing area when they followed up on a tip-off regarding a certain household believed to be in possession of drugs.

Police proceeded to the house in oSizweni Section B and recovered two pokes of dagga, weighing 0.037 grams and a black back containing 0.139kilograms of dry-loose dagga.
Upon further investigation, police recovered an additional 30 full mandrax tablets and R1 800 cash.
The drugs recovered at the house were estimated at a street value of R10 000.
Police arrested the three suspects aged 29, 30 and 31 years respectively, and charged them with possession of dagga and Mandrax.
All three suspects will appear in the Madadeni Magistrate’s Court soon.
