No arrests have been made as yet for the underground robbery that took place this morning (February 13) in the CBD area.
It is known that the alarm was triggered as the intruders entered the building through the floor.
It is believed that the criminals used the drainage system and dug a hole into the building to gain access.
An undisclosed amount of cash and goods were stolen from the supermarket.

The CCTV footage in the building was deleted by the suspects.
Ladysmith K9 Unit officers searched the area and the drainage system, and found the entry point where the suspects got into the drains.
The robbers failed to gain access to the ATM machine in the store.
