Madadeni SAPS are investigating a case of murder after responding to a complaint at a residence at Nxumalo Stand in Blaauwbosch on February 12.
According to Madadeni SAPS Communications and Liaison Officer, Captain M.B. Nkosi, 41-year-old Nelisiwe Elma Nkosi was found by her seven-year-old daughter, lying in a pool of her own blood on her kitchen floor.
“According to the victim’s neighbour, she was on her way home when the daughter of the deceased came to her crying and told her what she had found at home.,” Nkosi added.

The neighbour then reported the matter to the police.
“Upon arriving at the crime scene, police found the deceased lying in a pool of blood, with the murder weapon still embedded in her neck.”
It is not known at this stage what the motive behind the brutal stabbing was, but a case of murder is currently being investigated.
