Valentine’s Day arrived at Drakensview Primary School with some new fun things to climb on at the foundation phase field.

There was enormous excitement as everyone enjoyed the challenge of climbing on the tyre lines.

The grade one educators have planned some fun play areas to occupy the learners during break time. The Valentine’s Day surprise is part of the first phase to be implemented.

The planned apparatus is to develop social play, fine and large muscle co-ordination and core strength; all things essential for success in the classroom.
