The analysis and the overview of the matric results provided by, Acting District Manager of Education, Mr Khumalo, gave a clear picture of why we should celebrate this year’s achievements.

Worth noting was the fact that Amajuba leads in the pass rate of subjects such as Mathematics, Maths Literacy, and English in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

“The bulk of our school’s pass rate for the class of 2017 was excellent, this is evident by the fact that we are leading in terms of the highest marks in almost all the subjects” said Mr Khumalo.

The mayor of Amajuba District Municipality, Cllr, Dr. Ngubane delivered the key-note address, pointing out that 2018 has been declared as the year of President Nelson Mandela who was a firm believer in education as a weapon to defeat inequality and poverty.
