Estcourt High School learners share a pint of blood

Blood Donor Representatives were very helpful when assisting the nursing team as well as their fellow school mates

A blood donor clinic was held at Estcourt High School last Wednesday by the South African National Blood Service (SANBS).

Basil Dlamini and Sandile Buthelezi made their fifth blood donor contributions.

Blood Donor Representatives were very helpful when assisting the nursing team as well as their fellow school mates.

Blood Donor Representatives, Nlobisile Zuma and Slindokuhle Khumalo, assist at the clinic.

27 units of blood was collected, while a total of 36 learners attended and nine of them were welcomed as new blood buddies.

Nkosingiphile Mbanjwa made his third blood donation.

Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain and the SANBS team express their heartfelt thanks to the school and the learners who supported this worthy cause.
