Warning: Keep your dog in your yard – if not, you will receive a hefty fine
Annamarie says that stray dogs must be reported to Public Safety

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) is facing the mammoth task of dealing with dogs on the loose and roaming the streets of Ladysmith.
Annamarie Koen from the AACL says she has had numerous complaints about dogs running all over the streets and ripping up rubbish bags.
Residents in Daffodil Crescent say they are now fed up with stray dogs running all over the place and “messing” in their yards, which they have to clean up all the time.
Annamarie says that stray dogs must be reported to Public Safety, and bylaw officers will go out to the scene and address the problem.
You will receive a warning and if you do not adhere to the law, you can receive a hefty R1000 fine.

She adds that now you can only keep 2 dogs at your home and all female dogs have to be spayed.
The problem of stray dogs is all over town, with residents up in arms and wanting them removed from the streets.
