Warning: N3 closed at Mooi River due to protest action and burning trucks – make use of alternative routes
Motorists are advised not to use the road until it is cleared
The N3 is currently closed at Mooi River due to protest action today (April 29).
Both the northbound and southbound lanes of the N3 are closed, and trucks are being burnt on the road.
Traffic is backed up in both lanes, heading north and south.

Motorists are advised not to use the road until it is cleared.
Light motor vehicles travelling southbound are being diverted onto the R74.
There is also a serious crash near Van Reenen and Harrismith, which will take a while to clear.
