A man was scammed of his hard earnings on Saturday at the Pick n Pay center when an amount of R3 600 was fraudulently withdrawn from his bank account.

Burglary on Colley Street 

Yesterday a house on Colley Street was broken into and goods worth  R4 600 were stolen, these were DVD player, radio, PlayStation, Vodafone tablet and two chargers. The thief used an unknown instrument to gain entrance through the roof.

Shoplifting at Shoprite and Exact clothing shop

A shoplifter stole a tray of meat at Shoprite CBD yesterday valued at R140.14 – the culprit was arrested.

Another shoplifting incident happened at the Exact clothing store yesterday, where the culprit stole a Samsung  J1 cell phone valued at R1 499. The shoplifter was arrested.
