Truck catches on fire along Van Reenen’s Pass

A truck caught on fire this morning (May 16) at around 9.30am along Van Reenen’s Pass.

The Durban southbound left lane has been obstructed as a result.

It is believed that the tyres caught alight first. However, the exact cause of the fire is unknown.

Emergency services were on scene and doused the flames.

No injuries were reported.
