Department of Water and Sanitation representative visits to assess problems with water in Ladysmith

The issues that were addressed will be taken up further by the department and also Cllr Warasally

Department of Water & Sanitation representative Xolani Makhanya visited Ladysmith on Wednesday (May 16).

He was in town to assess the problems that Ladysmith residents are facing with regards to water and sanitation.

IFP councillor Abbas Warasally met with Makhanya and took him to many of the major problem areas such as open manholes, burst water pipes and overflowing sewage.

The issues that were addressed will be taken up further by the department and also Cllr Warasally.
