Tragic news: Former Ladysmith mayor passes away
Our deepest condolences go out to the family of Mr Kritzinger
Mr Lorrain Kritzinger has passed away. He died during the early hours of this morning (May 24).
92-year-old Mr Kritzinger was unwell after having a hip replacement.
He was well-known in the community of Ladysmith, especially driving around in his trusty old yellow Volkswagen.
Mr Kritzinger was a former mayor of Ladysmith and also school principal.

Mr Kritzinger is mostly remembered for his contribution to education and the way he touched the lives of not just the pupils he taught, but also his fellow teachers.
