2 lions put down after escaping from game reserve and killing livestock

Two lions had to be put down last week after escaping from a game reserve in Ladysmith.
Three lions initially escaped, with one being captured and safely returned to the reserve.
Unfortunately, the other two had to be euthanised after killing livestock and getting too close to humans.
