Vien Sewlal achieves his 25th consecutive Comrades Marathon goal
The veteran athlete completed his 25th consecutive Comrades Marathon at the weekend, reaching his milestone in nine hours, 54 minutes and 37 seconds.

The veteran athlete completed his 25th consecutive Comrades Marathon at the weekend, reaching his milestone in nine hours, 54 minutes and 37 seconds.

“I am proud to have accomplished my milestone,” he said earlier this week.
Vien took on the 89-kilometre ultramarathon on Sunday, joining around 21 500 other athletes from across the province on the ‘down run’ from Pietermaritzburg to Durban.
