Snips Market Day provides a festive-like atmosphere to Newcastillians

On Saturday (June 9), Jooste Road was bustling with people from all over Newcastle, who gathered for the Snips Market Day.
There were many stalls set up, with some of the best food and handmade arts and crafts residents had to offer.

According to Mariska van der Westhuizen, the market was a huge success.
“The last market was a bit quiet because of the rain, but I was very excited to see that people have come together to support us again this month,” she elaborated.
The Snips Market Day is one of the most anticipated social events on the Newcastillian calendar, and organisers hope it will continue to be a success.
