LETTER: Once again NO service delivery!

Shape up or ship out Newcastle council members. Do your jobs!

Madam,

Funny how fast this municipality can push up our rates and taxes but when it comes to keeping their side clean it’s not a first priority to them…

For instance keeping pavements clean and safe to the public in Hutten Heights where trees have been lying now since December month and not cleared up sufficiently so that pedestrians don’t have to be exposed to the danger of speeding maniacs which is often the case walking up Blesbok Avenue and Bosbok Avenue.

And not only that, it’s also a hiding place for dangerous snakes like Mozambique cobras and other snakes were spotted in the area.

It’s a sore sight for anyone’s eyes having to look into that mess. I suppose they are going to say that’s also not their responsibility like they shake all their responsibilities onto the rates and tax payer’s shoulders!

We as rates and tax payers pay enough for your stupid unnecessary skyscraper civil centre, outside our yards is not our jobs to clean up if it’s not our trees that fell over!

Shape up or ship out Newcastle council members. Do your jobs!
