Helping the underprivileged, nutritionally and spiritually

A humble request is made to businesses and individuals for sponsorship in cash or kind

The determined and driven group from Project Cornerstone, consisting of co-ordinator Mr K Bihaspat and some learners from Lasec, made their way to RDP houses on Saturday to feed the community.

The Royal Hotel generously provided mouth-watering, creamy soup and bread for the hungry community.

The team sang songs of praise and worship, and prayed for the current needs of the community.

Special mention needs to be made of Mr Richard Lee and his wife, Mrs Lee, from the Royal Hotel, as it is through their unstinting generosity that these projects are funded and sustained. A special word of thanks also goes out to the head chef at the Royal Hotel and his wonderful kitchen staff for the preparation of all the meals that reach their various destinations.

A humble request is made to businesses and individuals for sponsorship in cash or kind to help those in need.

Mr Bihaspat can be contacted on 0797952473 or 0366330218

“May the Lord bless you abundantly,” said a pleased resident on Saturday.
