Child killed after caravan catches fire near Ladysmith

A child was tragically killed after a caravan caught alight on Monday afternoon (July 2) in Ezakheni D-Section.

Public Safety, the Ladysmith Fire Department and other emergency officials were on scene.

Numerous other children sustained burn wounds and were transported to hospital for medical attention.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this stage.
