Update: No snow on the Drakensberg, as Ladysmith is plunged into cold weather
The icy conditions have seen the Western Cape experience their first snowfall of the season

The SA Weather Service warned of a cold front making its way through the country at the beginning of this week.
Conditions have been bitterly cold in Ladysmith this week. Snow was expected to fall in KwaZulu-Natal, but there have been no reports of snow in the Drakensberg area.

The icy conditions have seen the Western Cape experience their first snowfall of the season. Cape Town was covered in snow.
However, according to Snow Report SA, no more snow is predicted for the rest of the week.
