Uelzen hockey players show top form

KZN Inland Hockey: Uelzen is very proud to announce that Kireshni Pillay and Marcel Wellmann were chosen to represent the u/12B KZN Inland team. Their tour took place in Bethlehem, in the Free State, during the July holidays.
The boys’ team came sixth out of 15 and the girls’ team came eighth out of 15. (by K Pillay).
The KZN u/13 Inland hockey teams participated in a tournament held in Tzaneen in the holidays. Siya Khumalo, Cebo Mbatha and Ntando Zuke were the children from Uelzen who took part.
The B team of which Siya was a part of, managed to make it all the way to the finals and came second.
They had an experience of a lifetime and would like to thank their former coach, Mr Lambert, for making their dreams a reality. (Siya Khumalo)
Media Monitors: A new set of monitors take the reins in the school library and we congratulate the following pupils on their appointment: Abigail de Jager, Hamza Dawjee, Jessica Geyser, Lusiwe Mqadi, Marcel Wellmann and Kayley Kalicharan.
Prefects: The following Grade 7 pupils have been appointed for the new term: Thabiso Africa, Muhammad Khader, Siya Khumalo, Noma Nkosi, Terniel Seethal, Sameeshka Naidoo, Zahrah Ameen and Hlelelwa Mntambo.
