Police reunite missing man with family

Mr Hlongwane was traced to the streets of Warden

Mr Mxolisi Lawrance Hlongwane has been reunited with his family and is fine.

He went missing on March 17. Police say he is mentally challenged and has a history of wandering away from home and failing to return.

Following a media statement issued by police and an online article published on this site, valuable information was supplied to the investigating officer.

This led to Mr Hlongwane being traced to the streets of Warden.

Since then, he has been reunited with his family.

The acting Uthuklea SAPS Cluster Commander would like to place on record her appreciation to the members of the community who came forward with information.
