GPS kids in the business of doing business

On September 21, Glencoe Primary School held its annual Senior Entrepreneurs Day.

Last week Friday, September 21, Glencoe Primary School held its annual Senior Entrepreneurs Day. Any Grade 6 and 7 learners who wished so, could take part and sell to their peers. Learners could work individually or in groups, and were encouraged to be creative and sell items that were fun and different – and what a variety there was! Marius de Waal constructed his own go-cart and giggles of joy could be heard as he pulled learners along. Other learners sold things such as briyani, decadent cupcakes, juices, popcorn, wors rolls, ice-cream, fun gadgets and many more, along with car washes for teachers. Well done to all the learners who took part and made a success of the day!

Leylah Nyembe, Thando Msane, Mbusi Sibisi, Sibahle Mtshali and Carey Ververis all eager to make a sale.
