Three more homes were targeted by burglars within the past week.
In the first incident, speakers and a cellphone were stolen from a home at Cradon Farm. On October 5, the owner left the premises and upon returning later that day, he found that the door to the property has been forced open. and the items were stolen.
A radio, DVD player and speakers were also stolen from a home in Lindelani. The owner told police that he left his home in the morning and upon returning, he noticed the window had been broken to gain entry into the house. The items, valued at R 5 000 were all stolen. Groceries and two blankets were stolen from a home in Smith Street. The items were stored in a rondavel, which was locked by the owner. The following morning she noticed pieces of glass on the ground near the window of the rondavel. She then noticed that the window was broken and the property stolen. No arrests have been made in any of the cases.
