Building partnerships for quality health care at Injisuthi Clinic (photos video included)

Injisuthi Clinic was abuzz with activity on Wednesday. The staff hosted a Youth Festival and Open Day.

The purpose of the events was to invite learners from neighbouring schools to educate them on rape, teenage pregnancy and family planning and to also advise them of the services that are offered at the clinic.

Wednesday’s events began with a march where the learners from Nkomokazini Technical, Inkosi Mjwayeli and Bonokuhle High schools held up placards condemning rape and teenage pregnancies. About 100 learners were part of the event.

Thereafter each member of the clinic explained what services are provided in the consultation rooms.

These included medical care for chronic and minor ailments, nutrition, HIV testing and even data capturing.
