Multiple injuries in serious crash on Pieters road

The injuries sustained varied from moderate to serious

Four people were injured in a crash on the Pieters Road on Saturday afternoon (November 10).

It is believed that the driver of a VW Polo lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road, crashing down an embankment.

Four people were treated on scene by emergency personnel before being taken to hospital.

Police, Public Safety and a towing service responded to the scene.

A large crowd of bystanders gathered around while the paramedics went about their duties.

Traffic flow in the area was delayed until the scene was cleared.
