VIDEO: Municipal workers squabble with municipal manager
Scenes of chaos were evident
A video has surfaced of municipal workers confronting municipal manager, SR Ntuli, in the foyer of the Endumeni Municipality. The video was apparently taken on Friday after a group of workers wanted to speak to Mr Ntuli about their grievances.
It is not clear what their grievances are as a Courier reporter was on Friday told to leave the building by the angry workers.
Mr Ntuli had to be escorted by traffic officers as the matter was getting out of hand. The angry workers appear to object how they were being spoken to.
The confrontation again highlights the chaos currently enveloping the municipality following last week’s botched Council meeting that should have re-constituted the Executive Committee and elected a Mayor or Speaker.
