House fire in Paradise leaves boy injured
Emergency services were promptly on the scene treating the boy for minor injuries.
A fire broke out at a home on Manilla Street last night.
According to the homeowner, the fire started in her son’s room.
Emergency services were promptly on the scene treating the boy for minor injuries.
“All I could see was flames. Thank God my son is okay,” she said.
Neighbours noticed the fire and attempted to quell the flames with garden hoses, while waiting for the Fire Department to arrive.
The fire has since been contained.
