Johan Maree loves adventure in the outdoors
Johan has travelled to Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo
Johan Maree enjoys life to the fullest, visiting places all over Africa.
The 49-year-old is originally from the Northern Province, but now stays in Ladysmith while he drives back and forth to Newcastle, where he works at 4X4 Mega World.
“I live for the outdoors, probably because while I was growing up, I had a friend who lived on a farm and I visited him often. I love fishing and camping.”
His true love is his wife of 10 years, Hennelene.
He quips that also high on his ‘list of loves’ is Botswana.
“I first visited Botswana in 1999 and have been going back ever since.”
Johan has also travelled to Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
