#FeesMustFall campaigner hosted in Dundee en route to Pretoria

He and his 30 companions on walking from Nquthu to Pretoria

Fees Must Fall campaigner, Bonginkosi Khanyile, and 30 of his companions arrived in Dundee last night as part of their 450-kilometre walk from Nquthu to Pretoria.

The walk is to highlight the need for job opportunities for young people. He has also expressed concern over the prevalence of foreign-owned shops in especially rural areas in KZN.

He was welcomed in Sibongile last night where he and his friends were welcomed. Mr Khanyile gained international fame in September 2015 where he became the face of the #FeesMustFall campaign at universities around the country.

He says it should take him and his 30 companions a month to reach their destination.

They’ll deliver a memorandum to government officials in Pretoria.
