A small bridge was swept away in the heavy thunderstorm that hit Ezakheni on Saturday evening (February 2).

People living in this area are concerned about the schoolchildren who will suffer, as the learners use this bridge every day to get to school and back home.
Many people in Roosboom, Umbulwane and other areas are homeless as a result of the storm, and are battling without clothes, food and most importantly shelter.
