Watch: Another vicious storm destroys homes in Roosboom

Homeowners say they have nothing left, as all their belongings were destroyed in the storm

A violent storm has hit Ladysmith once again, this time with Roosboom being affected.

The storm ripped through the area last night (February 8) at around 8pm.

Residents say they heard thunder, followed by heavy winds and then the storm was upon them.

Driving rain pelted down, accompanied by wind and small hailstones, leaving many people homeless.

Homes had their roofs blown off, and even walls came crashing down.

The affected homeowners say they have nothing left, as all their belongings were destroyed.

This storm comes after last weekend’s storm that destroyed homes in Umbulwane, Steadville and St Chad’s.
