Well-known local paramedic Frank Keith Saltmarsh sadly passed away yesterday (Friday, March 8).
Frank worked in the Ladysmith and Estcourt area for many years.
He moved to Bethlehem recently, where he continued working as a paramedic.
The details surrounding his death are unclear at this stage. It is believed that he took his own life.
Social media has been a hive of activity, with other paramedics passing on their condolences. Many of Ladysmith’s paramedics knew Frank well, having worked with him over the years.
The Ladysmith Gazette extends its condolences to Frank’s family and colleagues.
