Eskom has issued an alert for Stage 2 load-shedding today (March 15).

People are encouraged to help the situation by using electricity sparingly. Switch off geysers, non-essential lighting, as well as electrical appliances to assist in reducing the demand.

Residents are advised to keep checking their load-shedding schedules on the Eskom as well as municipality websites and work around the assumption that load-shedding will take place (in the event that it becomes necessary).
