All set for the Endumeni Sports Challenge

The Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge will take place at the Kallies Stadium from April 11 to April 14

Get ready for a weekend of sporting action and fun for the whole family.

The Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge is less than a week away and excitement is building for the sporting spectacle.

Now in its twelfth year, the event will introduce a new ride and add some great entertainment to the lineup.

For the lovers of the fun rides, there is now the new Samba Balloon, which promises to be colourful and fun.

If you’re a fan of music, there will be great entertainment in the form of Future Family. Future Family is one of Endumeni’s top rap and dance groups, established in 2014. Future Family have also performed at the Dundee July Horseracing Event and their star continues to rise.

The Endumeni Winter Sports Challenge will take place at the Kallies Stadium from April 11 to April 14. There will be a funland, hookah den, stalls, entertainment and loads of sports. This year, schools will compete for bragging rights in netball, cricket, chess, cycling, boxing and the new addition of skipping.

Armbands can be bought at the stadium from April 9. Each armband costs R100 and includes the entry fee and unlimited rides at the funland.

The entrance fee to the event is R10 for children and R20 for adults on April 11 and 12 and R15 for children and R25 for adults on Saturday, April 13.

Organiser Ash Khan also advised residents that there will be no pass outs at the gate, so they are urged to carry warm clothes when entering the gates. Preference will be given to emergencies only.

There is also a strict ban on alcohol, drugs and weapons at the event. Right of admission is also reserved.
