The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) teamed up with the Estcourt Sai Organisation to host a blood donor clinic at the Forderville Primary School Hall last Sunday.

Shantel Moonsamy donated a pint of blood on Sunday.

The nursing team set up their stations and opened the doors at 10am. Only four blood donors bled by 12pm. Altogether 22 local volunteer blood donors donated a pint of lifesaving liquid.

Ronica Bagothipersad attended the Sai blood donor clinic on Sunday making her 16 donation to SANBS.

Despite the blood donation process getting off at a snail’s pace, each pint collected will save patients’ lives.
