Once the hearty meal was ready, salad and juice were made, after which 250 meals were spooned with care into containers ready to hand out.

A snake-like queue forms ahead of the meal distribution.

Once the van was loaded, the team set off to Colita to serve lunch. This time around they had a special treat in store for the children. Each child received a goodie hamper filled with tasty treats.

Goodie bags handed out to the children.

The lunch was sponsored in memory of His Holiness Swami Krishna Das Maharaj.

This little one happily walked away with his lunch.

The team wishes to roll out a winter warmth project whereby gloves, blankets, socks or jackets are collected.
