Church celebrates Father’s Day and Youth Day by giving back to the community

Food parcels and blankets were donated to the needy

The Uniting Reformed Church in Roosboom celebrated Father’s Day and Youth Day on Sunday, June 16, by giving back to the community.

Food parcels and blankets were donated to the needy, while members of the Christian Youth Ministry honoured the men of the congregation by buying a cake specially dedicated to them to say thank you for being great leaders of the church.

Congregation member Thulisile  Mtshali said that the recipients of the food and blankets were extremely grateful for the kind gesture.
