The Ladysmith branch of the Islamic Medical Association (IMA) embarked on their very first Eid hamper initiative for the Steadville Jamaat Khana in Ladysmith recently.

Funds were collected and a total of 82 children were each gifted with a bag, blanket, snacks and Eidy. The younger boys and girls received toys and books, while the older girls received purses and scarves.

The older boys received a Quran and keffiya.

The hampers were distributed on Eid day.

The association would like to thank everyone involved for their generous contribution and effort, which certainly brought beaming smiles to these children’s faces.
