DHS ex-learner to head Sharks Currie Cup campaign

In 2018, Everitt led the u-19 Sharks team to a season-long undefeated streak.

Dundee High School is excited to announce old learner, Sean Everitt, who attended DHS from 1980 to 1985, will be Head Coach of the Cell C Sharks during the team’s 2019 Currie Cup campaign.

School representatives say it is always exciting to hear about the successes of past pupils. In 2018, Everitt was the coach of the successful Cell C Sharks Under-19 team, leading to his latest appointment.

Everitt has coached junior teams with great success. In 2018, for example, he led the u-19 Sharks team to a season-long undefeated streak.

“He definitely puts DHS and Dundee on the map with his huge success in the field of rugby – well done!”
